GTA V PC Release Date: Leaked Screenshots Show GTA 5 In Beta

GTA V PC Release Date: Leaked Screenshots Show GTA 5 In Beta, Alleged Release Date Revealed

On Tuesday, the gaming world came alive once more with the release of Grand Theft Auto V on PS3 and Xbox360. The result? The game tipped over $800 million in sales during its first day - good for record-holder honors. But since the game's announcement in 2011, fans have already been requesting a PC version. Now, we get to see an alleged GTA V PC release date, together with some screenshots of a beta version.
Reddit user Devbuild has released some photos of an alleged GTA V running on his personal computer. The account claims that the game is currently in beta, but will be eventually released for PCs on November 22.
The user posted several screenshots of the game while also displaying the task manager indicating the game's processing load.
In addition, we can also see that GTA V will be highly optimized for PC, clocking 30 or 60fps. It will run in standard 1280x720 resolution, though full HD 1920x1080 is also possible with black bars to compensate.
While we should definitely take this with more than a grain of salt, the feeling of excitement for this rumored release is just amazing. Rockstar North has yet announced nor confirmed any of the rumors circling the Web about GTA V's PC version, but rest assured we'll get the news once it is released.
Here are some of the alleged screenshots of GTA V PC edition:

GTA V PC Petition Hits 470,000 Signatures

The push for GTA V on PC continues following the game's release.

The petition to bring Grand Theft Auto V to PC began last year, but the game's recent release has only intensified the push.
The number of signatures has increased exponentially since this time last year, rising from 40,000 to 470,000, as of the time of this writing.
"Please release GTA V on PC," the petition reads on change.org. "GTA games have been a large part of so many people's lives and it's a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform."
